Show up for Philly Dance Share!

Why give?

Philly Dance Share is entirely volunteer-run. Sometimes the organizers (pictured right) pay money out of their own pockets in order to keep the organization in the green, so that we can continue to offer services to the Philly dance community. We love our community and we have dreams to keep this organization sustainable - that’s why we’re asking for your support!!

We are consistently blown away by the support shown to us by our community. If you have a few extra dollars to spare to support our work, we will be very grateful! Any donation helps to cover firstly, our studio rental if we do not make enough from class fees, and secondly, to ensure our financial health for future growth. Thank you in advance!

Giving FAQs

  • All of our donations go into a general fund to support our operations and future growth. Donations will be allocated to the following priority areas:

    Firstly, donations will be applied to ensure that we are not in the red financially, by applying extra funds to meet our studio rentals (our primary expense).

    Thereafter, donations and extra funds will be placed in our savings account, which will be applied towards administrative and operating costs as they emerge.

  • Currently, because we are an LLC and not a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, donations made directly to us are NOT tax-deductible.

    If you would like to give a major gift and want it to be tax-deductible, please email us at phillydanceshare@gmail.com. We are fiscally sponsored by Philadelphia Dance Projects and are able to receive major donations through them, which would make them tax-deductible for you!!

  • You can use any major credit card to make a donation through this website, or you are welcome to send us a check. Please make the check out to Philly Dance Share LLC. For privacy purposes, shoot us an email and we will share with your our mailing address to address your check!

  • At the moment we will keep all of our donors anonymous. In the future, as we grow our individual giving program, we may include public donation credits (with approval from donors). For now, everything is anonymous!
