This event is a fundraiser to raise $500 for the PDS Teacher Compensation Fund, which guarantees PDS teachers $20 per class.
The night will include a GOO Jam led by Nella w/ live DJ (TBA), screen printing, drinks, plus a raffle!!
You can do an a la carte experience (pay for the GOO Jam, and then make donations as you go to opt in to other parts of the night), or you can do a package deal… see more info below.
All money collected will go towards the Teacher Compensation Fund, more info on that below.

About the Teacher Compensation Fund
PDS currently has a Teacher Compensation Fund (TCF), which, for as long as the fund has money in it, allows PDS to guarantee a payment of $20 to each teacher.
Why? PDS wants to pay all of our teachers equitably AND we also want to keep classes affordable for students. In order to subsidize the difference that sometimes occurs between these two needs, we started the Teacher Compensation Fund.
How does it work? In the case that a teacher is going to get paid LESS than $20 after deducting the cost of the studio rental, PDS will pull from the TCF in order to bring the amount up to $20. This fund is limited, so when the fund runs out, we will no longer be able to offer the additional support to teachers.
In the future, we would love to expand fundraising efforts for the TCF, in order to raise the set amount paid to teachers from $20 to closer to $50 per class.
