mik- roadkill, rigor mortis, resurrection
Saturday April 19th, 2025
1-2:30PM @ CHI Movement Arts Center
1316 S. 9th Street
we’re all dying! in this class we’ll be moving in and out of contact with ourselves, the floor and each other while thinking about death, dying and being in the constant process of dying while presently living. throughout we’ll explore death (the action, our thoughts, fears and emotions behind it, etc.) through conversation, improvisation, abstraction, connection and phrase material. we’ll play and maybe mourn, grieve, find comfort/discomfort, find lightness/heaviness?
Level: open to everyone regardless of movement experience, but a portion of class will be learning phrase material, in which case some experience may make that more comfortable. if you have any specific questions, reach out to mik directly via instagram or email (mik.phillips01@gmail.com)
