DESCRIPTION: The class begins with sensory-based explorations that heighten attention and responsiveness, grounding the body in principles of quickness and awareness. From this foundation, dancers move into dynamic phrase material that emphasizes agility, precision, and choice-making within complex structures. By testing the limits of sensory perception, dancers investigate how awareness of space and momentum can expand possibilities for action. The class culminates in expansive phrase material that propels dancers through space with boldness, clarity, and dynamic presence.
